An NFC business card uses a short-range wireless chip to share a link with a compatible phone. Save your eBiz card URL to an appropriate NFC card or tag, then hold it near the recipient's phone. Their device handles opening the link. Phone support, settings and the position of the NFC reader can vary.

Your eBiz profile brings your contact details and useful links together in one place. Link to your business website, social accounts, or the booking and payment pages you already use. Photo and video features are available on paid plans; compare the allowances before building your media gallery.

NFC or a QR code: which do you use?

Two ways to open the same profile. NFC needs compatible hardware.

NFC is useful when the recipient can hold a compatible phone close to your NFC card or tag. QR works on a shared screen, a slide or a badge. Your eBiz card has one link, so you can use an optional NFC accessory, a QR code or a message to share it. You don't need to rely on phone-to-phone NFC.

Choose the method that works for the moment. Use your tag when the recipient's phone supports it, show the QR code for a camera scan, or send the profile URL in a message. Opening the hosted profile requires an internet connection.

What does an NFC business card do?

A compatible NFC card or tag can store the link to your eBiz profile. A supported phone reads that link when held near the tag. The recipient chooses to open the profile and whether to save your contact details; the tag does not automatically add you to their contacts.

Do people need an app to receive my NFC card?

They do not need the eBiz app or an eBiz account to view your shared profile. They need a supported browser and an internet connection. Link-opening and contact-saving confirmation screens depend on their phone, settings and contacts app.

Can I make my own NFC business card?

Yes. Create and save your eBiz digital card, then use its public profile URL with a compatible NFC card or tag. Follow the hardware provider's instructions for writing or configuring the link, and test it on the phones you expect to use. Photo and video features require a paid plan.

Does an NFC card work on iPhone and Android?

NFC reading depends on the phone model, settings and tag compatibility; not every device or situation supports it. Keep your profile QR code or shareable link available as an alternative. eBiz does not require phone-to-phone NFC sharing.

What happens when my job or number changes?

Edit your hosted eBiz card while keeping the same profile URL. Visitors who reopen that link can see the updated page, including through a tag already linked to it. Contacts previously saved on someone's phone are separate copies and do not automatically update.

Is a physical NFC card included with eBiz?

No. eBiz provides the digital profile. A physical NFC card or tag is optional hardware obtained separately. You can share your profile by QR code or link without buying NFC hardware.
