HOW IT WORKS

How eBiz Smart Cards Works

Create your card, save it, then share its public link or QR code. Recipients can view it without the eBiz app, and you can keep the hosted page current as your details change.

One profile, from first introduction to follow-up

Your eBiz card brings your contact details and useful links together on a hosted page. Create it in the iOS, Android or web app, then share its public URL or QR code. The free plan includes one business or personal card, limited customization and unlimited sharing.

When someone opens your link, they see the saved public page rather than your editor or account. They can follow your links, choose to download your contact details, or submit their information back. For field-by-field setup and a testing checklist, read our detailed digital business card guide.

Quick answer: Create, preview, save and share. Photos, video, social icons and full customization are paid features; recipients do not need an eBiz app or account to view the shared page.
FOUR STEPS

From account to first share

Four stages explain the workflow. Preview the result before sending it to someone else.

Download the app

Grab eBiz from the App Store or Google Play, or open the web app in your browser. Create a free account and you're ready to build. That's all it takes to get started on an iPhone or an Android phone.

Design or upload your card

Choose the available card style and add your name, role and contact details. Preview the card, then save it. Full customization and additional cards are available on paid plans.

Add details, links, and video

Add your website and links to the services you already use. Choose a paid plan for gallery photos, intro video and social icons. Check your plan allowance before adding media.

Share it and capture contacts

Show the card QR code or send the public link. Open it while signed out to check the recipient experience. Visitors can choose to submit their name, phone and email through the contact form.

WHAT GOES ON THE CARD

More than a name and a phone number

Paper can hold a logo. Your eBiz card holds everything a first impression should carry.

Fully custom design

Use the editor to choose your card style and branding. The free plan has limited customization; paid plans provide full customization.

Photos and video

Paid plans add media to the page. Bronze includes three photos and one intro video per card; gallery videos begin with Silver. Open the pricing page for each plan's allowance.

Links and widgets

Link to your website, booking page, payment service or portfolio. Social icon allowances depend on your plan. These links open existing services rather than replacing them.

STEP TWO

Make it look like your brand

  • Upload your own design or start from a layout
  • Add your logo, colors, profile photo, and cover
  • Add photos and video within your paid plan allowance

STEP THREE

Share it whatever the moment allows

Every card carries its own QR code and link, so you're never caught without a way to hand it over.

  • Show your QR code for anyone to scan on the spot
  • Connect an optional compatible NFC tag to your public URL
  • Send it by Airdrop, text, email, or a plain link
  • The recipient can view it, then choose a contact download and confirm the save

DIGITAL VS PAPER

Why a digital card wins the exchange

Printed cards and digital profiles can work together: a QR printed on paper can open the hosted page.

How sharing works when the other person has no app

A visitor opens the public page in a supported browser with an internet connection. They decide which links to use and whether to download a contact file. Import and confirmation screens vary by phone; the website cannot silently save a contact for them. A contact already imported into their phone does not automatically change when you edit your hosted page.

Use the public profile link in messages or your email signature. If you want a printed QR, our QR business card guide explains hosted-card links versus static contact QR codes and how to test a print. See the digital card features and plan allowances before choosing upgrades.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I start using eBiz?

Download the iOS or Android app, or open the web app, and create an account. Add a business or personal card, enter your details, then preview and save it. The free plan includes one card, limited customization and unlimited sharing.

What happens when someone opens my card?

The public link opens your hosted card in a supported browser with an internet connection. Visitors can use your links and choose to download your contact details. Their phone or contacts app controls the final save confirmation.

Which features need a paid plan?

Photo galleries, intro videos, social icons and full customization require a paid plan. Bronze includes three gallery photos and one intro video per card; gallery videos begin with Silver. Check the pricing page and your current subscription terms for allowances.

Does the recipient need the eBiz app?

No. Visitors can view a shared profile without an eBiz account or app. The person managing the card uses the iOS, Android or web app.

What changes when I edit my card?

Saving an edit updates the hosted page at the same public URL. Visitors who reopen that URL can see the new version. Contacts already imported into a phone are separate copies and do not automatically update.

Can I share without a QR code?

Send the public profile URL by text or email, or use sharing options offered by your device. You can also configure an optional compatible NFC card or tag with the profile URL. NFC hardware is obtained separately and phone support varies.

Ready to make your card?

Create one card free and share it by link or QR. Choose a paid plan when you want photo galleries, video, social icons or full customization.
